Dr. Dave Patel is originally from South Florida. He went to the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He moved to Boston, MA and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Providence, RI at St. Joseph’s Hospital. His time there solidified his decision to pursue endodontics. His specialty training in endodontics was done at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) where he graduated with a Certificate of Endodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree. After completion of his endodontic residency, he moved to Minnesota and practiced there for several years before moving to Texas.

During his endodontic residency, Dr. Patel received multiple awards including the American Association of Endodontists/DENTSPLY Resident Award for his research project as well as the John T. McSpadden Spirit of Service Award given annually to the endodontic resident who provided exemplary patient care. Dr. Patel fosters an honest, friendly, and compassionate environment while providing quality endodontic care and strives to make the experience as comfortable as possible for his patients.

He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, watching the Florida Gators, spending time outdoors, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Rachel Kalman is originally from the Boston area. She graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Psychology before starting on her journey in Endodontics. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she also went on to pursue her specialty training in Endodontics and Masters of Dental Science. During her time at the University of Connecticut, she was honored as chief resident. In addition to her clinical duties, she enjoyed teaching dental students and conducting endodontic research. Dr. Kalman also was selected as one of ten residents nationally to serve as a member of the Resident Expert Advisory Council for the Foundation for Endodontics, the philanthropic arm of the American Association of Endodontists. A dedicated member of professional organizations, Dr. Kalman belongs to the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.

She understands that many patients come into the office feeling nervous and she is deeply committed to helping her patients feel at ease, ensuring her patients’ comfort, and delivering the highest standard of care. In her leisure time, she enjoys travelling, following Boston sports teams, and exploring the vibrant culinary scene of Houston, Texas.

Dr. Nikhil Reddy was born and raised in Houston. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science. Dr. Reddy then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Afterward, he continued his training at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in San Antonio. His passion for endodontics drove him to pursue a career as a dental specialist and completed his Postgraduate program of Endodontics The University of Alabama at Birmingham under the decorated guidance of Dr. Paul Eleazer. While attending the program, he had the honor of treating patients at the Birmingham VA for one year. He then practiced in Denver, Colorado before moving back to Houston to be closer to family.

Dr. Nikhil Reddy is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and Texas Dental Society. He believes in the highest of quality care for his patients with a conservative approach. He strives in having an honest relationship with each patient, with a delicate balance of appreciation, empathy, communication, and clinical excellence.

On his days away from the office, Dr. Nikhil Reddy enjoys spending his time with family and friends, whether it’s exploring the great outdoors or lounging on the couch with Netflix. He loves all things sports related and is an avid fan of the Longhorns and our Houston teams. However, his biggest passion is music, from playing instruments or attending the many live shows that Houston has to offer.
